What our Front Office Patient Liaison role is all about
 

As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll play a key role in setting the tone for a welcoming, comfortable experience. Here’s what your typical day might look like:

  • Warm Welcomes & Friendly Farewells: Greet each patient with a smile, check them in and out, and help create a positive, stress-free visit.

  • Smooth Scheduling: Coordinate appointments, minimize wait times, and keep everything running on time with a keen eye on the daily schedule.

  • Patient Assistance: Explain procedures, answer questions about treatment options, and offer guidance on policies and billing—always with patience and clarity.

  • Multi-tasking Maestro: Handle phone calls, manage patient records, and take care of administrative tasks, all while keeping your cool and staying organized.
     

What it takes to be successful in this role:
 

  • A Warm, Welcoming Personality: Patients feel at ease around you, and you know how to handle anxious or upset patients with empathy and patience.

  • Strong Communication Skills: You’re a clear communicator, whether explaining treatment plans or helping patients understand their options.

  • Organizational Skills & Attention to Detail: Juggling appointments, data entry, and patient files is no problem for you, and you never miss a detail.

  • Adaptability & Problem Solving: You stay calm under pressure, can handle last-minute changes, and are proactive about solving little issues before they become big ones.

  • Professionalism & Confidentiality: You understand the importance of patient confidentiality and approach your role with a dependable, professional attitude.

Minimum Requirements:
 

  • Previous experience in customer service (dental, medical, retail, or hospitality experience is a plus!)

  • Proficiency with computers; experience with dental software is a bonus but not required

  • Strong multitasking abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving

  • Reliability, punctuality, and a professional demeanor
